Losar tibétain 2008
Le dimanche 10 février dernier, à la Cité du Dharma, en présence de Dzogchen Ranyak Patrul Rinpoché et de Khenpo Thubten Lodrö Nyima, se sont déroulées les festivités de célébration du Losar, le Nouvel An tibétain 2135 sous le signe de la Souris de Terre !
Cette année le thème était la
légende de Gesar de Ling, un thème que nous développerons
d'avantage dans les années à venir. Tous les bénéfices
de l'événements contribueront aux projets d'éducation
et de préservation de la culture tibétaine menés

Tibet à Linkebeek
Les 13 et 14 octobre prochains, Zangdok Palri Lotus sera présent à "Tibet à Linkebeek". Le programme de la journée:
à partir de 12:00: Exposition de photos et de
thangkas, stands d'informations, artisanats, livres, films, bar et dégustation
de thé tibétain et de snacks typiques;
14:00 & 16:00: Calligraphie et massage tibétain, suivis de
séances de pratiques;
14:00 - 17:00: Espace enfants : dessins, coloriages, contes de l'Himalaya
et film (les enfants tibétains en exil).

Tibetathlon - 2007
The Tibetathlon is a sportive and cultural event set
up to finance the extension of a school in Tibet. In the morning, the
runners will have the opportunity to run a distance of 10 km along a splendid
course in the « Forêst de Soigne ». The race is timed.
Last year, we had about a hundred participants. The afternoon is dedicated
to cultural activities to discover Tibet: Tibetan dances, animations,
workshops of sculpture, calligraphy, tales, mandala of sand, etc for the
young and the older ones.

Finalizing the Zangdok Palri Institute in Tibet
The Zangdok Palri Institute in construction -Sept 2007
Following plans, Zangdok Palri Institute in Tibet should be finalized
by end of June. If you wish to contribute to the paintings, statues or
ornaments of the Institute, you can make a donation via the Zangdok Palri
Lotus non-profit association .
Statues will be made from gold and silver. On the first floor, Padmasambhava
( 5m high, 50.000€) and its 8 manifestations ( 2m high, 12.000€
each)
will reside. On the second floor, Avalokiteshvara (3m high, 35-40.000€)
will reside together with the 8 bodhisattvas (2m high, 12.000€ each).
A statue of Amitabha (3m high, 20.000€) will reside on the third
floor. Altogether, a budget of about 300.000€ are needed for the
statues. The Padmasambhava statue has been donated already. The paintings
will cost approximately 30.000€, of which 10.000€ has been offered
already.
Le succès du Esch Stadlaf dépasse toutes les attentes

Le succès de la première édition du ‘Escher Kultur- a Stadlaf’ (Course
culturelle et citadine de la Ville d’Esch) a dépassé toutes les attentes.
Près d'un millier de coureurs et coureuses ont pris le départ dans la matinée du dimanche 2 septembre pour un parcours de 16 ou 10 km, longeant les sites culturels et les lieux de mémoire de la Ville d’Esch, sans oublier les marcheurs et la course des enfants sur une distance de 1500m.
Les exploits sportifs furent suivis par une après-midi riche en manifestations de toutes sortes : concerts, expositions et visites des musées de la Ville d’Esch qui avaient ouvert leurs portes spécialement pour cette journée exceptionnelle.
Un événement réussi également pour Zangdok Palri, puisque
le ‘Escher Kultur- a Stadlaf’ soutient l’école de Dzogchen avec 1 € par
participant… Un grand merci aux organisateurs, Dr Martin Kox et le CA
Fola, pour ce beau geste de solidarité !
Le Esch Stadlaf soutient le projet Zangdok Palri
Le dimanche 2 septembre prochain, la ville de Esch organise le Esch Stadlaf, un parcours culturel original permettant aux sportifs et aux moins sportifs de découvrir les richesses historiques et culturelles de la ville.
"Le Escher Stadlaf soutient, en lui reversant
1 EU par participant, l’association Zangdok Palri asbl et son projet
d’éducation à Dzogchen au Tibet.
Dans une région
particulièrement défavorisée de l’Himalaya,
cette association a
créé en 2002 une école-orphelinat
qui est pour les
enfants nomades tibétains la seule possibilité d’être
scolarisés
et d’avoir accès à une éducation
indispensable pour que leurs conditions de vie s’améliorent."
